Photos: Tour Day (1/11/2014)

Students boarded the bus for an exciting day of learning.

We were given a tour by KeVaughn and stopped at many locations during the tour, one being the courthouse, as seen in the picture above.

During our tour, we were able to see the majority of the town, from touristy parts to the markets.

We passed by the house that students helped rebuild last year. The restoration of the house was completed soon after POHS left.

The tour came to an end, and we drove back to the Treehouse at Good Hope Plantation to eat lunch.

We, then, went on a tour of Good Hope Plantation and visited the Good Hope Carriage House, which had a beautiful view.

We then hiked up to the Good Hope Great House, the biggest and most decorated house on the plantation. We were joined by a little friend (a puppy), who stayed with us for most of the tour.

Shiraz and Paloma admired the view from the Great House.

We ended the tour in a hat shop, where students had fun trying on extravagant hats.
